Wealthsimple Secures Up to C$425 Million in Financing at C$13.8 Billion Valuation

On 27 October 2026, Canadian fintech company Wealthsimple announced an agreement for up to C$425 million in financing led by GIC, including C$300 million in new equity and C$125 million in employee share purchases. The transaction values the company at approximately C$13.8 billion and highlights investor confidence in Canada's digital financial-services sector.
